Working at the hospital for almost 7 years, I have seen a lot of nurses come and go. Matt and Chelsey are two of them. The last shift I worked with Matt at South, I handed him a LeRae business card and said "when y'all decide to get married, give me a call". Needless to say he remembered. I was SUPER excited when I got the email from Chelsey asking me to be part of their big day. Their nuptials took place in LaPine, Alabama at the Old House at Meriwether and was captured by our sweet friends at Little Acorn Photography.
Chelsey chose sunflowers and hydrangeas for her main flowers and we complimented them with blue delphinium, aggies, and yellow solidago. For the centerpieces, we used my mom's white enamel collection. The giant enamel pitcher she had was the perfect container for the drink station arrangement.
I love adding personal touches to weddings and doing little things the bride or groom doesn't know about. This was one of those sweet surpries. We had a brownie bar and since Matt and Chelsey are both nurses we got creative with it. We drew up caramel and chocolate syrup in syringes for guest to squirt over their brownies and put yummy toppings in medicine bottles. You should have seen the look on the pharmacy techs face when I asked for 100 syringes. LOL!
We love working with Mr. Bud and the crew at the Old House at Meriwether. One thing you can count on is gorgeous scenery and green surroundings.
Thanks so much to Mr. and Mrs. Roberts for inviting us to be part of it all. It was perfect! Happy one year anniversary!
