Happy Anniversary

Yesterday Heather and Chad celebrated one year together and we are still thrilled they chose us to be part of their day!  It is always exciting when a bride uses the Le Rae branding colors.  As you know, we are kind of obsessed with lavender and purple and so is Heather.  We were a match made in heaven.

For cocktail hour, we built stands to hold glass shelves for the dip stations.  This picture is before all of the good yummies got added.  We were able to find perfect serving dishes such as purple and silver glassware and these adorable star shaped bowls (another obsession of Heather's).

The entrance of their ceremony was framed with soft lavender letters adorned with floral accents.

Next, guests were met with this oh-so fab petal aisle.

The reception was no less fantastic.  The pavilion was draped with white sheer fabric.  And at dark, the entire space cast a gorgeous purple glow thanks to the guys with Special Event Lighting.  The shimmery silver linen, the glass floral containers, and the flickering candlelight created that extra oomph to make you want to stay forever.

Besides our gorgeous couple, the star of the show had to be the dance floor area.  We created somewhat of an open air tent with this amazing chandelier as the focal point.  Nothing makes us more giddy than seeing our sketches come life and a smiling bride and groom.

And high five to an awesome team of vendors!  We love these folks!

The Wedding Favor - Vendor Highlights

We are beyond thrilled to say that our great friend Wes Roberts Photography has joined #teamfavor to "bless the mess" out of one deserving couple.  I mean can you even fathom the amazingness of giving someone a wedding photographer?  I can't even handle it y'all.  But it's happening!  Wes is donating 8 hours of wedding day coverage, a disc of the images, and a few other little surprises for this couple.  Just in case you aren't as excited about this as I am, I created a little collage of some of our work together.

Tres Chic Tuesday

Bonjour Mariées!  Do you have an upcoming engagement party?  From leather to sequins, Kamee has some of her favorite fall looks for y'all.  I know I say this every single time but there is no way I can pick a fave today!  Can you?

Mood Board Monday

We are sliding in at the last minute with our Mood Board Monday.  But with this little nip in the air, I've started thinking about fall.  While searching for a little inspiration, I found this amazing picture (top right in the below collage).  It is oozing with fall colors and an old world feel.  I can so see an entire wedding designed around this 1 single image.  Picture it with me;  the ceremony focal point is old iron fencing with rich colored florals hugging the top curve of the gate.  The reception would have a dark wooden custom made bar and behind it a faux finished painted wall adorned with gorgeous candlelit sconces.  Tables would be covered with "I'm not peach, I'm not orange" linens and surrounded by wooden chairs.  So warm and inviting.  It screams Italy in the fall (not that I have ever been but one can dream).  Are you in love as much as I am?

The Wedding Favor - Vendor Highlights

You've probably already guessed it but the venue for The Wedding Favor will be The Barn at Pisgah Hill.  This whole idea never seemed right until we had our own venue.  The chosen couple will have their ceremony and reception here and we couldn't be more thrilled.
